About Paws Outdoors
Paws Outdoors is a dog training & walking business designed to help owners struggling with their dogs behaviour. My mission is to make your life with your dog more enjoyable for both of you, by helping to strengthen your relationship and allow you to communicate with your dog in a way they actually understand. Whether you have a puppy, adolescent, adult, purebred, or rescue, every dog is unique and therefore will learn in different ways. This is why my training approach varies with each dog, as there is no ‘one size fits all’ in dog training!
My training is designed to teach your dog skills to prepare them for real life, starting with building solid engagement and a clear communication system, before teaching and proofing desired behaviours, whilst eliminating unwanted ones. This is done whilst considering a multitude of factors which play into your dogs behaviour including but not limited to: diet, exercise, genetics, pain, sleep, play, structure, and motivation.
Inspired by my greek mixed breed Wilbur, Paws Outdoors specialises in reactivity as this is an area of dog training that I have devoted so much of my time and money into researching and understanding how to resolve long term.
